Tracked over a few late summer days with Hayward Parrott co-producing, the music explores the fertile crossroads where pop, gospel, soul and rhythm & blues meet. The studio itself, built in a funky, refurbished church overlooking the ocean, brought an earthy vibe to the sessions.
